Little Johny was very happy today.Փոքրիկ ջոննին այսօր շատ ուրախ էրHe was going to the market with his father on New Year’s Eve to purchase various things.
All of the things he liked.Նա Ամանորի նախօրեին հոր հետ գնում էր շուկա ՝ տարբեր իրեր գնելու:
Բոլոր իրերը, որոնք նրան դուր էին գալիս:The market was quite lively and all the shops were decorated with light bulbs of different colours.Շուկան բավականին աշխույժ էր, և բոլոր խանութները զարդարված էին տարբեր գույների էլեկտրական լամպերով
Just then Johny noticed a shop where a large number of birds were kept in a cage.Հենց այդ ժամանակ ջոնին նկատեց մի խանութ, որտեղ մեծ թվով թռչուններ էին պահում վանդակում:The birds were repeatedly hitting their beaks on the cage trying to get out.Թռչունները բազմիցս հարվածում էին վանդակի կտուցներին ՝ փորձելով դուրս գալ:
Many of the birds were bleeding as well.Թռչուններից շատերի մոտ նույնպես արյուն էր հոսում:
Johny felt pity for those birds.Ջոննին խղճում էր այդ թրչուններին
When he could no longer control himself he went to the shopkeeper and said to him, “Why have you trapped these innocent birds? Why don’t you let them free? It is not fair to restrict anyone’s freedom.”Երբ նա այլևս չկարողացավ զսպել իրեն, գնաց խանութպանին և ասաց նրան. «Ինչու՞ ես թակարդել այս անմեղ թռչուններին: Ինչո՞ւ չես թողնում նրանց ազատ արձակել: Արդար չէ որևէ մեկի ազատությունը սահմանափակել»:
The shopkeeper replied, “I don’t enjoy this, but I don’t have any other source of livelihood,
I also need money to feed my family.”Խանութպանը պատասխանեց. «Ես դա չեմ վայելում, բայց ապրուստի որևէ այլ աղբյուր չունեմ,
Ինձ նույնպես փող է պետք `ընտանիքս կերակրելու համար»:Johny looked at his father who put his hand in his pocket.
“What about all those things which you had planned to purchase?”
Johny felt puzzled for a moment, but he decided that the freedom of those birds was more important than any celebration.ջոնին նայեց հորը ,ով ձեռքը դրեց գրպանը:
«Ի՞նչ կասեք այն բոլոր իրերի մասին, որոնք նախատեսում էիք գնել:Ջոնին մի պահ տարակուսանքի մեջ ընկավ, բայց որոշեց, որ այդ թռչունների ազատությունն ավելի կարևոր է, քան ցանկացած տոն:He held his father’s hand.
“Dad, I can enjoy New Year eve with my friends but these birds will enjoy it better to freely fly in the sky.”Նա բռնել էր հոր ձեռքը:
«Հայրիկ, ես կարող եմ վայելել Ամանորի նախօրյակը ընկերներիս հետ, բայց այս թռչունները ավելի լավ կվայելեն երկնքում ազատ թռչել»:His father handed over the money to the shopkeeper.
“You can set these birds free and from tomorrow onwards you can join me at the shop. I will convince the owner to give you a respectable job.”Նրա հայրը գումարը հանձնել է խանութպանին: «Կարող եք ազատել այս թռչուններին, և վաղվանից կարող եք միանալ ինձ խանութում: Ես կհամոզեմ տիրոջը ձեզ հարգելի աշխատանք տալ:
The shopkeeper felt happy and handed over the cage to Johny who opened the bolted door. All the birds started flying out one after other. Johny started clapping.Խանութպանն իրեն երջանիկ զգաց և վանդակը հանձնեց Ջոնին վ բացեց պտուտակավոր դուռը: Բոլոր թռչունները մեկը մյուսի հետեւից սկսեցին դուրս թռչել: Ջոնին սկսեց ծափ տալ
“Dad, now they will also enjoy New Year with their family and friends.”
Johny was relieved.
“Thanks dad, you could not have given me a better gift for New Year.”
Johny looked at his father.
“You deserved that my dear.” his father said, and hugged him.
